Steve has won a RTS Award for Best Children's Drama (The Queen's Nose), 2 Guild Awards and has 2 BAFTA nominations. He has written and had produced stage and radio plays, over a dozen TV series, individual TV dramas, and feature films, including the award winning GUY X, starring Jason Biggs and Jeremy Northam. He has also published twelve novels and a history book about the Boer War - Nationalism, Imperialism and Identity in Late Victorian Culture, (Palgrave Macmillan). He has also published poetry and won an Eric Gregory award. His latest adult novel, his 15th book, is published in April 2014 and is called The Natural Law, the second in a detective series about philosopher detective Paul Rook. The first, Philosophical Investigations, got to number 4 in the Amazon Kindle Singles bestsellers. He was commissioned to write a sci-fi film, Collider, which will also market as a video game and recently adapted a version of The Country Wife for the Watermill Theatre and is currently writing a book on How to Write Screenplays, and developing 2 TV ideas with production companies. Last year his own theatre extravaganza, Chaos Carnage and Kulture, had a successful run at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
