Attridge, Steve
Steve has won a RTS Award for Best Children's Drama (The Queen's Nose), 2 Guild Awards and has 2 BAFTA nominations. He has written and had produced stage and radio plays, over a dozen TV series, individual TV dramas, and feature films, including the award winning GUY X, starring Jason Biggs and Jeremy Northam. He has also published twelve novels and a history book about the Boer War - Nationalism, Imperialism and Identity in Late Victorian Culture, (Palgrave Macmillan). He has also published poetry and won an Eric Gregory award. His latest adult novel, The Harrowing of Ben Hartley, is a satire about education. He was commissioned to write a sci-fi film, Collider, which will also market as a video game. He has just adapted a version of The Country Wife for the Watermill Theatre and is currently writing a book on How to Write Screenplays, and developing a TV idea. He is also touring his own theatre extravaganza, Chaos Carnage and Kulture.
