The Find A Writer database contains contact details for all Full Members of the Guild – i.e. members with at least one professional credit. If we do not have details of the writer’s agent, and the writer has not entered their own email address, your contact request will go via the Guild office.
All information is entered by the member themselves.
Full members who want to enter or update their details should visit our login page.
Advanced search will allow you to search on more criteria, for example, writers' credits.
Helen Smith is a novelist and playwright. She is the author of two children's books and a mystery series. Her novels are Alison Wonderland, Being Light and The Miracle Inspector.
She has various screenplays in development, including a pilot for a TV series.

The latest Off the Shelf at Black's event - a collaboration between the Writers' Guild and Fiction Uncovered. Novelist Chioma Okereke will read from her work and discuss her writing.
The event runs from 11am-4pm at Black's Club in London for a maximum of 23 attendees, who will have a chance to read some of their own work after lunch. Cost is £25,including 2-course lunch.
Open to all, including non-members of the Guild.

25 June - On comic writing
